Teams – Connect with Rowan-Cabarrus 导师s

Rowan-Cabarrus tutors are still 可用 to meet 一个-on-一个 for virtual sessions. 学生s can make an appointment and check tutor schedules using the Bookings link above. There is no limit to tutoring sessions scheduled through Teams, so we encourage students to use that before signing on to the 导师.com服务.

We are very excited to offer 24/7 online tutoring service provided by 导师.com 可用 to Rowan-Cabarrus Community College students. To get connected to a live tutor, go to the 黑板上 class site for which you need tutoring, select 课程的工具 from the menu on the left-hand side of the page, and select the 导师.com链接. (Some courses may include an 在线辅导 link in the course menu in place of 课程的工具.) 学生s now have the option of connecting to a tutor with voice-chat capabilities.

Each Rowan-Cabarrus curriculum student is given a set amount hours of online tutoring at the beginning of each semester. (小时 may vary by semester, so please see your 导师.com dashboard for more details.) If more time is needed, please contact Deanna Dixon (迪安娜.dixon@00766.net). Additional time will be awarded on an as-needed basis 一个 time per semester and is often 一个 additional hour.

The tutoring service can be accessed from any Internet-enabled PC or Mac, and even from your smartph一个 or tablet. As long as you have access to the Internet, you will have access to a tutor when and where you need 一个.

To get connected to a live tutor: The tutoring service can be accessed from any Internet-enabled computer or mobile device by signing on to 黑板上. Once logged in, 导师.com can be accessed through each of your 黑板上 classes by selecting “课程的工具” in the course menu and selecting 导师.com. (Some courses may include an 在线辅导 link in the course menu in place of 课程的工具.)一旦入选, you will be connected to a landing page where you can select the subject and view the remaining minutes you have left 可用 to you for the semester. Please do not use the link in 课程的工具 from 一个 class to receive tutoring for another.

Virtual Study Groups

Virtual Study Groups, our new service, is 可用 now! Simply email the Center at tutoring@00766.net with the names of up to 4 participants, your class, and the date and time you’d like to meet. We’ll match you with a tutor who will create the meeting and email you to confirm the Study Group.
